Elemental Attunement

By | November 22nd, 2016|Camping & Hiking, Life, Rituals, Tools of the Craft|

Elemental attunement is the practice of being one with the elements. Yes, we are all born under a sign with a specified element, but as a witch I feel it necessary to communicate with all elements. Elements also have specific workers that do their bidding as well called elementals. Working in tandem with the element [...]

Our Trip to Asheville

By | November 2nd, 2016|Camping & Hiking|

A year ago, on October 30th, 2015 I pledged my life and soul to the wonderful man I call my husband. To celebrate we went with his parents on a weekend vacation to the beautiful city of Asheville, North Carolina. On our weekend away from home we went pub hopping in Downtown Asheville, where I [...]

A Walk in the Woods

By | October 28th, 2016|Camping & Hiking, Life|

Working from home every day while my husband commutes downtown can get pretty lonely. There aren't any co-workers around or any face-to-face meetings to attend so it has felt more of a need lately to get out of the house and reconnect with my surrounding. Yesterday was a particularly lonely day and there was a [...]

Deception Pass 2016

By | March 24th, 2016|Camping & Hiking, Instagram, Life|

Deception Pass was one of my favorite hikes and camping trips last year! This year was no different, and surprise we had wonderful weather! The sky was blue and the sun was out, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend!

First Time at Rasar State Park

By | February 28th, 2016|Camping & Hiking, Instagram, Life|

Omg we've been camping so much! I was starving for some serious nature time after a long winter, so we exhausted ourselves with 3 straight weekends. Rasar State Park is a couple hours north of Seattle and it was so cool! I loved the Skagit river and the amazing foliage. The hike was awesome and [...]

Back to Rimrock

By | February 22nd, 2016|Camping & Hiking, Instagram, Life|

We had another cold weekend out camping. This time we camped in Rimrock Meadows in Eastern Washington. It's in the middle of the desert so there was little protection from the cold wind! We had a good time though and got a lot of relaxing in. Also driving through Snoqualmie Pass was incredibly beautiful and [...]

Dosewallips State Park

By | February 14th, 2016|Camping & Hiking, Instagram, Life|

Our first camping trip of the year was at Dosewallips State Park on the Olympic Peninsula. Everything about the hike and scenery were beautiful, but there was heavy rain and it was pretty chilly. We also discovered that we camped here on the exact same day as last year.

Beautiful Eastern Washington

By | June 3rd, 2015|Camping & Hiking|

We had an amazing time camping with our friends at Rimrock Meadows in Eastern Washington. What a beautiful place! However it was very different than the rainforests we are used to camping in… […]

Deception Pass

By | May 4th, 2015|Camping & Hiking|

Just got back from an amazing weekend camping and hiking around Deception Pass near Oak Harbor, WA. The Gods blessed us with beautiful weather and gorgeous natural scenery! We hiked along the coast and were amazed by the breathtaking beaches, vistas, and cliffs. We also stopped on the Deception Pass Bridge which is a long bridge over the pass connecting the chunks of land. It is quite the engineering feat, and I would highly recommend vising the area and checking it out! […]

Kalaloch

By | April 22nd, 2015|Camping & Hiking|

I had the most amazing weekend camping trip. We were right by the beech on the west side of the Olympic peninsula about 20 miles south of Forks. We did a couple nice hikes, one that stretched miles on the beach. We did a couple rituals by the campfire. One for job success, a blessing for [...]
